Canadians started like a hurricane and led after 46 seconds, the first succesful shooter was Ryan Johnson. Canadian players increased their lead in 6th minute after a very nice shot to the gallows of the cage from Monkhouse. The score was changing again right after 38 seconds after Johnson. Swiss team took a timeout after the third goal.
Swiss team switched goalkeepers after the first period. Item was replaced by Röthlisberger. First Swiss shot on a goal came at 16:15, and finished behind the goalies´ back. Thürig was the lucky shooter. In 22nd minute Canadian defender Shaw injured Suter from Swiss team. The player was sent to the hospital right from the playing field for an examination. Greenaway increased Canadian lead on 4:1 in 23rd minute.
The next allocation of goals came in the last period. Brown scored at 30:42 and just eight seconds later Davison increased the Canadian lead on 6:1. Monkhouse added the seventh goal in the Swiss net and Tedesco with the eighgth shot closed the final score at 43:43. For Swiss street hockey players it was the third defeat in tournament, they received eight goals in each match. .
