U18 and U 16 World Championship has started!
The march through the centre of the city of Most and opening ceremony on the stage of the ice hockey arena started the second Wold championship in U18 and U 18 categories.
All the participating teams started the ceremonial march from the Cascade Hotel through the centre of the city of Most on the way to the ice hockey arena. In the first row walked the president of the ISBHF Domenic di Geronimo. On the stage of the ice hockey arena were the participating teams welcomed by the mayor of the city of Most Vlastimil Vozka, who also wished all the players luck in the next few days of the Championship. During the opening ceremony the teams were saluted by the patron of the Championship, Nagano winter Olympic games winner, world championship and the NHL winner, former Czech national hockey team player and HC Benzina Litvinov team defender Jiří Šlégr. He wished luck to all the players in the hard games, but his biggest wish for the championship, is that sport and fair play would win.
Also the president of the ISBHF Domenic di Geronimo wished all the best to the players and officialy declared the championship as started.
