U16: In the second match Slovakia defeated Canada
Today’s second match brought together again teams in U16 category. Young Slovakian team gained victory over Canadian team.

In the first third of the game Slovak team overshoot the executing world champions from Canada. Drozd opened the score in the sixth minute during 5-3 powerplay after combination with Dinda. Less than three minutes after first goal Slovak team lead 0:2. Dinda scored after another double powerplay. Closely before the buzzer Hirkala added third goal for team from Slovakia
After The break more shots finished in Canadian cage. At first Hirkala increased lead of his team (for the second time in the game) in powerplay on 0:4. Then Ferletak added fifth goal, again during the powerplay. Young Canadians scored their contact goal right before the second break. First succesful Canadian hit behind the Slovakia‘s goalie back came from Catchpole. Hard shot from the space between the rings, came after very nice pass to the ideal shooting position from Maiolino.
In the last part of the game, same as in the both previous parts, was seen excellent play by both teams. But players had to wait for the next goal until 41st minute. During the Canadian double powerplay Ceraldi scored from position between the rings after the pass from Catchpole. But right after Slovakian Team counter with another succesful shot, when ball behind the canadian goalies back was reached by Strauch after Dindas shoot. Twelve seconds before the end of the game Hofmann set up the final score on 2:7 for Slovakia after Canadian double exclusion.
